Norman Hilton. Norman Hilton and his family has built a reputation in the Ivy League look community for their quality jackets. Norman Hilton had great advertisements which demonstrated great style that in my opinion are better than the ones today. In this advertisement, the Topcoat is featured with nature shoulder construction with tweed as the choice of fabric.Study this advertisement and stay crispy my friends!!

Gant Rugger has menswear cover for the holidays. The looks by GANT for December are infallible. The lookbook consists of preppy classics like black watch pattern which stands out everywhere. Crispy recommends everybody to have a blackwatch pattern item. Too many classic pieces like plaid blazer, trench coats, and mackintosh coats. Different looks for various occasions, which I recommend men to take notes from. If you're the guy that doesn't have an idea what to wear for Navidad or New Years, save this page and study the pics.

I love scarves, that's an Elias fact. When I'm putting away my summer clothing and bringing back my winter clothing, I first organize my scarves. I love scarves because they compliment your wardrobe. In fall and winter you won't catch me without my scarf. I was checking out L.L. Bean Signature and came across to this smashing scarf. This scarf is crafted from John Hanly, a reputable brand from Ireland known for their scarves and blankets. The brand has been crafting scarves since 1883, "So yeah they know a thing or two about making scarves". This scarf features a herringbone pattern, which is perfect as an alternative for plaid printed scarves. The scarf is 9"W x 74"L, which is a great length for various styles of wearing it.Buy now at L.L.Bean Signature

Prep throwback Thursday is brought to you by J.Press. This might be one of my favorite advertisements I have posted so far. The advertisements come from the 1959 catalog, featuring quintessential Ivy League items normal in any preppy household in 1959. The 1959 catalog had classic sweaters like, "The Shaggy Dog, Shetland Sweaters, and the Danish Irish fisherman" for men and women. I wonder why J.Press no longer sells their timeless sweaters to the female audience, which I'm sure would be a hit. I wished I had a time machine to relive this time and be able to buy these sweaters at those prices.
